One of the things I found fascinating about Brussels on our recent holiday was - in contrast to Cardiff - how they've gone out of their way to make life easy for pedestrians. This is Little William Street, just east of William Street. It appears that two attempts have been made to establish a zebra crossing here, though I can't figure out why. There's little traffic, virtually no footpath, and no significant building entrances or other traffic generators to cross between.
