Lemon scented

Last week I ran out of garbage bin liners, so I went to buy some more at the supermarket. When I got there I discovered the only ones in the correct size (34 litres) are scented. Mint scented, pine scented, lemon scented, something like that.

I decided on the lemon. So now my rubbish bin doesn’t smell of rubbish… it smells of lemon and rubbish.

Our bin liners have a pretty smell too. I think ours are orangey. Not sure bout that though. We use any plastic shopping bags for our recycling side of the twin bin. That side doesn’t seem to get so stinky!

I think we are becoming a little too smell obessive

apparently aus is one of the few places that sells scented toilet paper

Occassionally we use vanilla scented bags which hold twice as much rubbish as the standard supermarket bag. Comes in handy when smelly nappies are an issue or during dinner parties when you don’t fancy overspill or trotting out to the wheelie bin every 10 minutes. I agree though; some of us have become a bit fussy and precious regarding these trivial aspects of life.
