I’d completely forgotten about this until M reminded me of it last week. For some reason I didn’t blog about it at the time. Better late than never.
A couple of years ago (actually, 2006, when the kids looked much younger than they do now) Flat Stanley (this one from friends in the USA) came to visit us. Rather than just chuck him back in the mail with a postcard, we showed him about the place before sending him home.

Ha! Good stuff! I just showed this to Meg (this particular Flat Stanley creator) and she didn’t remember it. You and your boys went above and beyond the call of duty on that one. It was extra special because while most kids sent their Flat Stanleys to relatives here in the states, we were lucky enough to know you! Thanks for the memories…
