A few weeks ago I bought a new peeler.
Yesterday I found out how sharp it is, when it left the carrot I was peeling, and had a go at my finger instead.
Ouch.
A wash and several bandaids later, the blood had stopped soaking through.

Mine’s pretty useless - the blade is slightly too bendy and the handle is strangely shaped, which doesn’t let you get a good angle on the thing. I did buy a new garlic press last week, but I don’t think it’s got quite the same potential for damage.
