Snow!

Yesterday, Isaac, Jeremy, Marita, Adrian and myself piled into the car to head for the snow at Lake Mountain. It took about an hour to get past the Edge Of Known Suburbia (Lilydale), then about another hour via Healesville (quick rest stop) and Marysville to the slopes.

Not as much snow present as last time, and some mud on the toboggan runs, but still fun had by all.

LOL, looks like a fun time. Who knew Australia had snow? I didn’t until this year *BLUSH* Thanks for posting these pics. It’s actually rather pleasant to remember the slightly chilly days here instead of the heat of summer.

Great snowmen Issac and Jeremy! (and Adrian too)

Hey, I was at the snow yesterday too! Descriptions of my day of snowboarding at Mt Buller would include the following : rain, hail, sleet, fog, wind, and very cold.

It was great!

Suggestion for head of snowman – (if I can figure out how to explain it! It’s warm here in Canada!!)

When you roll up the snow, compact it by squishing it into your body, then when you put the head on, make sure you “push it down” into the bottom of the snowman, so that it will stick to each other.

, one day I will get back to the Mountain (Mt Washington on Vancouver Island)!!
