Tue 7 June 2005 - The morning it all went right

Dropped the kids at their place of business, then got to the station, had a chat with the station host.

The train was on time, not too crowded, and ran express where it was supposed to.

An old uni buddy got on at Caulfield and we had a catch-up chat. He described an interesting theory that public transport users are often healthier, because (apart from the fact that they get more exercise) they have more exposure to a wider variety of people and their germs, so (within reason) they build up more resistance to disease. Hmmmm.

As I strolled down Collins Street, a cheerful “Hi Daniel!” and a wave from an acquaintance.

When I got to work I didn’t have to wait too long for the lift, and there were plenty of teabags and milk in the kitchen. Is there any more anybody could ask for in a morning?
