Tue 21 September 2004 - The hair
Yesterday at the tram stop at lunchtime was a woman with the most incredible hair.
It went straight up, about 20cm off her scalp, and was dark red. A kind of big burgundy mohawk.
She looked about 60, and was pushing a pram with (I assume) her grandson in it. As she walked along the stop, heads turned to look, then away again before she saw them staring.
Almost one of those “wish I had my camera” moments.
On a completely unrelated note, I got sent a computer program called The Aussie English CD to review. Check it out here.

Meh, that’s not unusual for the San Francisco Bay Area

I have seen her often enough. She has had that look for quite some time, like a couple of years. Never seen her with a baby though. Doubt she would be sixty though. Perhaps fifty. Pretty kewl I think.

I think she lives in Northcote somewhere in a big house.. I don’t know how she gets her hair like that, I bet she’s the envy of punks around the whole city.
To top off the hair, she has the most amazing glasses too.
