Happy birthday to me.

Happy 34th birthday to you Daniel on my 30th. Famous person we share our birthdays with: the late great Sir Donald Bradman. I will toast in your general direction this evening.

Happy birthday from me too, and welcome to “Club 34”. (no membership fee, but no membership benefits either, so I guess that balances out).

Enjoy this last year of health. Once you turn 35, everything starts falling apart. In the year since turning 35, I’ve been hospitalized with an infection, had a spinal disc rupture, had my shoulder go out so bad I couldn’t move it for 2 days, my bald spot is expanding at a geometric progression, my cholesterol is up, my blood sugar is up, and I’ve found I need an hour more sleep at night on average.

So, with that wonderful stuff to look forward to a few months hence… Happy Birthday!

:-)

I recently finished reading Short History of Nearly Everything… It is an enlightening book! I used to think I could depend on science, but it is incredibly political and imperfect!

The book is a great read.

Happy (belated) Anniversary!

The 5th anniversary of your 29th birthday!! Don’t listen to anyone. You don’t start falling apart until you are 45!!
And NO, I’m not 45!!! :) :) :) :)
